Where to start playing
The casino has more than 560 slot machines, in denominations of 1, 2, 5 and 25 cents and $1. If you only know blackjack, the live tables run Blackjack and one other blackjack variant. The other two table games are Texas Hold'em and Crazy 4 Poker. Roulette, baccarat and craps are not on the list.
The gaming floor has a separate smoking room with dedicated machines and its own air-handling system. Table counts, minimums and poker stakes are not published by the casino, so ask on the floor if that matters to you.

Getting to Marquis Road
Northern Lights Casino stands on 44 Marquis Road in Prince Albert, SK, postal code S6V 7Y5, and free parking is plentiful. For electric vehicles there are three charging stations: one ChargePoint Level 2 serving 2 vehicles, one Porsche Level 2 and a single Level 3 DC fast charger.
The Guest Services desk is where RV guests register, using a SIGA Rewards card, and the stay is approved by security or the Casino Shift Manager. Permits last 3 days, all occupants must be 19 or older, and spots go on a first come, first served basis. City buses don't operate Sundays or on statutory holidays, so arrange another way to get there.
Parking at Northern Lights CasinoThe official opening of Northern Lights Casino took place in March 1996. Northern Lights is one of seven casinos under the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA). A First Nations non-profit organization, SIGA returns all of its net proceeds to Saskatchewan. In its listings, SIGA associates the casino with Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation.
The casino calls Prince Albert "The Gateway to the North". For time outside, it points visitors to the city's 35 parks and 1300 acres of parkland. The Rotary Trail suits walking, running, skating or biking, and Little Red River Park is another option. In winter, there is curling at the Prince Albert Golf and Curling Centre.
Exploring Near Northern Lights CasinoOnline casinos and the province
In Saskatchewan, the sole legal online gambling site is PlayNow.com, operated by SIGA and open to players 19 and older. Competing sites are described by the Government of Saskatchewan as "illegal platforms". A private site offers no player protections from the province. Self-exclusion applies to the nine Saskatchewan casinos and Game Break extends to PlayNow.com as well, yet neither program blocks a private online casino.
Paid links on this guide's home page are labelled Ad. Whichever one you click opens the same private online casino partner; it gives Pine & Marquis a commission, and it could change. The partner is neither PlayNow.com nor run by Northern Lights Casino or SIGA.
